About the company
We have been building registers and POS systems since 1992. We simply enjoy it. We respond to what our clients actually need and make running their business easier.
With a team of specialists and partners we deliver quality retail registers to premises all over the Czech Republic and abroad, build custom software and provide advice, consulting and service. That is how we have gained more than 2,000 satisfied clients whom we truly value. You can choose from several versions of touch registers tailored to retail, services and hospitality.
We know it matters to help those who need it, so we regularly support non-profit organisations. We have donated our registers to training facilities where people with disabilities learn to work, and to Lékořice, which employs mothers of long-term hospitalised children at Thomayer Hospital, and we lend POS bundles to schools free of charge.
History
Our POS systems have a long history – here are some of the milestones.
With the arrival of Android we created PEXESO, our smaller and more flexible POS system, which later became the foundation for our other mobile systems.
The vision was joined by enormous enthusiasm and the urge to build a product with no equal on the market. Step by step the plans took shape, unique solutions were devised and a team of specialists was built. That is how the first AWIS system came about.
Launch of the „Já, číšník" app for easy ordering in a restaurant without having to flag down a waiter.
When electronic sales records (EET) arrived, our systems gained EET support and immediately worked as registered tills in pilot operations.
EkoBIT spol. s r. o. took over the operation of the AWIS and PEXESO POS systems and immediately began developing the current generation.
The first entirely new system, FirePOS, was released, later joined by LadyPOS and MediPOS. The traditional PEXESO system was overhauled as well.
The POS systems moved back under the AWIS company, which means better support and faster development ahead of EET 2.0.
