Hair, barber and beauty salons commonly accept payment immediately after a service. Under the current EET 2.0 proposal, cash as well as card or QR payment made directly in the salon may be a reportable in-person payment.
A small salon does not necessarily need a large setup for EET. The important point is to have a device and software capable of the required EET 2.0 communication.
Normal operation and real sales reporting should start on 1 January 2027, with full enforcement from 1 February 2027. A later remote invoice payment by ordinary bank transfer is not an in-person payment.
