How to start EET 2.0 step by step

First verify your duty and choose a device. Then access DIS+, register for EET, create recording units, generate a certificate and configure your till.

    Review the income, payment and exemptions.

    Use Czech e-identity, data box or Financial Administration credentials.

    Register for EET

    Open the EET section in DIS+ and complete registration.

    Create recording units

    Describe premises, websites, apps, vehicles or work outside them.

    Generate a till certificate

    Free in CA EET, then install it as instructed by your supplier.

    Configure the till

    Set units, devices and certificate and test connectivity.

    Start recording

    Normal operation and real-sales recording begin on 1 January 2027.

What is a recording unit?

It identifies where or how recordable sales are received: fixed or mobile premises, a website or app, a vehicle, or the taxpayer when working outside those units.

Restaurant

Fixed premises with one or more devices.

Market stall

Mobile premises or a specific selling point.

Online shop

Website or app when recordable payments are received through it.

Tradesperson at a customer

The taxpayer can be the unit.

How the till certificate works

The free CA EET certificate signs data messages and protects their integrity. One or more certificates can be generated, revoked and automatically renewed when supported by the device.
